To My Fans, Friends, and New Comers,
I have missed you lately. I got busy and have not updated the blog in a while. Never fear, I have not abandoned nor forsaken you. I will be blogging much much more soon!
I am actually waiting for the internet at my house to be fixed; finally, I hear Monday is my magic day! Internet at home will fix many problems I have had!
I just returned from the Professional Photographers of America National Conference: IMAGING USA! It was held in Nashville TN this year at the Gaylord Resort. Let me just sum it up: Amazing!!! Next year San Antonio. I am looking forward to seeing all my new friends again.
I am so pumped, and excited, and re-energized that I think everything I touch is turning to gold before my eyes. Have you ever felt so happy you just wish you could truly share it with anyone who will listen? Well I am and I genuinely feel it… so how is your day? While at the conference I turned another year older and I have to say it was the most fun birthday I’ve had in a couple years. I enjoyed my birthday at the conference with 10,000 professionals who share the same passion as I have. I have to give a warm shout out to Kodak who sponsored the closing party (aka Amy’s birthday party or so I like to call it.) It was in an amazing ballroom with appetizers and drinks and the music played until they kicked us out. Now, I’m not one to worry about age, I could care less the number of years I am or anyone else is, but I do care about the quality of life I lead and those who are around me lead. I must say I am loving life! I am about to finish my degree at the University of Central Missouri. Yes, I went back to school, I wanted to finish what I started (before Family crisis got in the way) and I value the chance to say I am actually a trained photographer with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Technology at the University of Central Missouri. Not knocking anyone without a degree I just highly value mine.
I am all in for 2010!
I will be updating posts as soon as I get internet at my home. I am working on a new website that should be up by the end of the month.
I am going to be separating my blogs: weddings, seniors, family, editorial, and maybe add a boudoir. I will put links so you can get back and forth. I am just afraid there is too much on here and I don’t want anyone getting lost or upset before they get what they want.
I will be in touch very soon!
Amy
